1. Notice at Collection; Collection and Use of Personal Information

We collect two types of information: Personal Information and Other Information.

Personal Information is any information that identifies or can be used to identify you, relates to or is reasonably linked with you, or that may be sensitive. It includes Protected Health Information (as defined by HIPAA) and Sensitive Personal Information (as defined by applicable state laws).

  • Referring Attorneys and Legal Representatives. Information provided by attorneys or their staff when coordinating lien-based care for their clients.
  • Service Providers and Contractors. Vendors such as website developers, ad networks, analytics providers, and other technology and service providers that collect information on our behalf. We only allow these parties to use your Personal Information to provide services to us and as otherwise permitted by law.
  • Other Entities. Government sources or other entities that assist us with fraud prevention, legal compliance, and similar functions.

Your authorized agent may provide a written power of attorney executed by you, or we may require your direct verification and confirmation that you authorized the agent.
